Hallsville Square Dance — Saturday, April 9, 2011

John White is the organizer and lead fiddler for the monthly Hallsville square dances.

Pack up your fiddle or banjo or mandolin or guitar or spoons…

Put on your dancing shoes….

Bring a dish to share…

Or just bring yourself to Hallsville for an old-time community gathering with good folks and plenty of fun.

  • 4:00 pm: Open old-time jam
  • 6:00 pm: Pot-luck dinner
  • 7:00 pm: The Virginia Reel, followed by squares, waltzes, schottische, and polkas

This is an informal event, where people of all ages gather to play music, share food and fellowship, and dance. Square dance instruction available, live music.  Donations gratefully accepted to help cover costs. Carry-in food welcome for the potluck supper. No smoking in the building. No alcohol allowed.
