Hallsville Square Dance — Saturday, October 8, 2011

What wonderful weather we have been having this week in mid-Missouri! Perfect for an old-time music jam, potluck, and square dance. We hope you can join us at the Hallsville Square dance on Saturday night. The video below was taken at the August dance.

There is plenty of room for the children to run around outside and play on the swings, while adults socialize and listen to great music inside at the Community Center in Hallsville, Missouri.

This is a family event. No alcohol or smoking is permitted. There is no admission charge. If you wish, donations will be accepted to help defray costs.

The music jam session is 4-6 PM. Carry-in food is available at 6-7 PM. Dancing begins at 7 PM and continues until 10:30 PM. You may come and go at anytime during this period, 4-10:30 PM, that suits your schedule. Feel free to bring your instrument, if you would like to play in the 4-6 PM jam sessions. You do not have to be a skilled musician. The same applies to dancing. Dance instruction is available if you need a little help. You are welcome to sit, visit, and watch if you wish. If you would like to bring some friends, they will be welcome. Children are welcome.

Location of Hallsville Community Center: In Hallsville, turn east at the signal light located at the intersection of Highway 124 and Route OO onto Route OO and proceed across railroad to first turn. The Center is located on your right near the base of a cell phone antenna tower.
