Family Dance at Lee School — Sunday, November 6, 2011

Join the Mid-Missouri Traditional Dancers and Lee Expressive Arts Elementary School Sunday afternoon, November 6, from 2:00 to 3:30 for a family dance for children and their favorite grownups!

Caller Krishna Fogle will lead you through easy-to-learn traditional dances like the ones people did back on the farm in the “olden days.” Live, toe-tapping music provided by Paul Fotsch on fiddle, Heinrich Leonhard on guitar, Jim Thaxter on banjo, and Kathy Gordon on bass). Refreshments served during the break, while you catch your breath. November’s dance is geared toward second and third graders, but other ages are welcome. Suggested donation $5 per family gratefully accepted to help pay the band and caller. For more information, contact Cindy.

When: November 6, 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.
