Contra Dance — Friday, December 2, 2011

For those of you who maybe ate too much at Thanksgiving dinner and need to work off some of those extra calories, you are in luck! MMTD is having another dance on Friday, December 2, 2011. Music by the James River Scrap Hounds (Barbara Weathers on guitar, Pete Howard on fiddle, and Jim Ruth on banjo), with Paula McFarling calling.

We will be dancing at our usual time and place:

  • First Christian Church, Tenth and Walnut, Columbia, Missouri (north entrance under the driveway canopy)
  • 7:30–10:30 pm (beginners’ lesson at 7:00)

Admission $7.00 ($4.00 for ages 16–25 or with student ID; free for children 15 and under)

All dances are taught and called throughout the evening. No partner needed. No fancy outfits expected. Just bring yourself and a desire to have a good time.
