Family Dance at Lee School — Sunday, March 18, 2012

Join the Mid-Missouri Traditional Dancers and Lee Expressive Arts Elementary School Sunday afternoon, March 18, from 2:00 to 3:30 for a family dance for children and their favorite grownups!

Caller Krishna Fogle will lead you through easy-to-learn traditional dances like the ones people did back on the farm in the “olden days.” Live, toe-tapping music provided by Whoop-Up Holler – Joel Chrisman on fiddle, Heinrich Leonhard on guitar, Jim Thaxter on banjo, and Kathy Gordon on bass). Refreshments served after the dance.  All ages are welcome. Suggested donation $5 per family gratefully accepted to help pay the band and caller. For more information, contact Cindy.
