Hallsville Square Dances

This is an old-time square dance founded by John and Betty White and the Missouri Traditional Fiddle and Dance Network. Every second Saturday at the Hallsville community center, which is on the south side of Hwy OO about three blocks east of the stoplight at the junction of Route B and Hwy 124/OO. See it on a map: https://mofiddledance.us8.list-manage.com/track/click?u=8511694ef129a27ec08a02986&id=12cb173c40&e=7c8477cc1d.

The music jam session is 4-6 PM. Carry-in food is available at 6-7 PM. Dancing begins at 7 PM and continues until 10:00 PM. You may come and go at anytime during this period, 4-10:00 PM, that suits your schedule. Feel free to bring your instrument, if you would like to play in the 4-6 PM jam sessions. You do not have to be a skilled musician. The same applies to dancing. Dance instruction is available if you need a little help. You are welcome to sit, visit, and watch if you wish. If you would like to bring some friends, they will be welcome. Children are welcome.

This is a family event. No alcohol or smoking is permitted. There is no admission charge. If you wish, donations will be accepted to help defray costs.
